We reframed customer perceptions of Legrand, showing the true scale of their business through bold, insight-led creative.

Global electrical specialist Legrand asked us to tackle a fundamental perception challenge. While the company is a leader across multiple markets, with extensive manufacturing in the UK and a wide portfolio of well-known brands, customers often only saw a fragment of the picture. Most associated Legrand with the products they used directly, missing the scale and diversity of the wider business.

Our task was to create a communications platform that would shift this mindset, encouraging customers to take a step back and appreciate the bigger picture. To do this, we developed a creative idea rooted in data and scale. By using hard-hitting statistics, we re-framed Legrand not just as a supplier, but as a powerhouse with influence across multiple sectors.

We brought this to life through a short, animated film, supported by press ads and collateral. The design language was intentionally bold and stripped back, reflecting Legrand’s confidence and clarity. Instead of complex messaging, we focused on simple, dynamic storytelling powered by numbers – quickly building a sense of size, strength, and capability.

Phase 2 involved the development of an interactive app, deployed online and via touch screens, allowing viewers to explore the applications of Legrand’s products and services. In addition, we created a scale model of our hero visual as an attention-grabbing centre-piece for events and in Legrand’s experience centre.

The result was a campaign that challenged preconceptions and elevated Legrand’s positioning. Customers left with a far richer understanding of the brand, recognising that there is far more to Legrand than the products they already know.
