
We relaunched an industry-defining boiler with a campaign that celebrated heritage and showcased innovation.
Vaillant’s ecoTEC plus boiler has long been one of the most recognisable and respected products in the home heating sector. For over ten years, it set the standard for efficiency, reliability and performance – becoming the benchmark by which other boilers were measured. But when the time came to update and refine the product, Vaillant faced a unique challenge: how to relaunch such an iconic product in a way that respected its heritage while communicating the significance of its latest innovations.
Our solution was to position the new model as The Original Remastered. This simple yet powerful idea placed the ecoTEC’s reputation at the centre, while signalling that the new generation was a refined, improved version of a true original.
We built a fully integrated campaign around this platform. At its core was a suite of CGI video assets, allowing us to visualise technical enhancements in a clear and compelling way. These were supported by press advertising and an extensive social media content plan, enabling us to speak in detail about the product’s new refinements while ensuring broad engagement across installer and trade audiences.
The campaign culminated with a high-profile industry event at London’s Science Museum – the perfect stage to celebrate innovation and heritage in equal measure. Here, the ecoTEC plus was officially unveiled to the press and key industry stakeholders, solidifying its position as a product that continues to set the benchmark for the sector.
The result was a relaunch that not only drove awareness of the new ecoTEC plus, but also reinforced Vaillant’s reputation for industry-leading R&D and its role as a brand synonymous with progress.
