OF A KIND marks a new chapter for the studio with the launch of a refreshed identity and website. The new look reflects their approach to design: thoughtful, distinctive and rooted in clarity.

OF A KIND marks a new chapter for the studio with the launch of a refreshed identity and website.

It showcases recent collaborations, introduces a sharper visual language and sets the tone for how the studio will continue to work with brands who are looking for something considered, characterful and built with intention.

Formerly known as Kingel, the studio has taken this moment to reflect on the type of work it wants to produce and the kind of relationships it values. The transition to OF A KIND represents a shift toward deeper involvement in brand development, with a focus on understanding the nuances that make each client unique. Rather than a single aesthetic, the studio prioritises strategic thinking and long-term brand growth supported by flexible design systems.

Alongside the name change, the studio has restructured how projects are delivered. Smaller, more collaborative project teams are now in place to give clients direct access to designers and decision makers. This ensures clarity of communication, faster workflows and a more personal working relationship. Clients can expect a studio that listens carefully, asks the right questions and works closely to create design that has both purpose and character.

The new website brings this philosophy to life. Case studies are presented with transparency, showing process as well as outcomes. There is space to understand not only what was made, but why. The work has been documented with attention to detail, giving viewers a clear sense of how ideas are shaped and refined.

OF A KIND begins this next phase with a renewed sense of direction and a commitment to creating brands with clarity, confidence and distinction. It is a fresh identity, but one built on experience, curiosity and the belief that design should reflect the character of the people and ideas behind it.
