AMEY asked OF A KIND to help create its mostvisually impactful and engaging leadership conference to date. Our task was todevelop a bold, cohesive event identity that would bring the conference themeto life and connect every part of the experience, from presentations and stagescreens to signage and the wider venue environment.

The result was a distinctive visual language builtaround this year’s theme, Beyond Boundaries: Collaboration andTransformation. Designed to be flexible and highly practical, the systemworked across every speaker deck, breakout session and piece of event signage, helping the whole conference feel joined up and intentional. A key part of thebrief was to transform the Manchester Convention Centre into a space that feltunmistakably AMEY, creating a strong sense of arrival and immersion for the 150senior leaders attending the two-day event.

Each year, AMEY brings together its senior leadership team for its annual Focus Conference. The event gives directors, business leads and key decision makers from across the organisation the opportunity to align on priorities, share progress and set the direction for the year ahead. The 2026 conference was designed to bring that alignment into sharp focus, with two clear goals. To unite the leadership team around AMEY’s collective vision and strategic priorities, and to celebrate the successes of the previous year, reinforcing the commercial and cultural behaviours that drive performance.

Across the two day event, teams from AMEY’s different business units shared case studies, best practice and lessons learned, helping to build a stronger sense of collaboration as the business looks ahead to 2026. With a clear creative framework running through every part of the experience, the conference not only looked striking but also supported AMEY’s wider ambition to break down boundaries and move forward together.
